01 · Practice
Matters that call for judgement, not volume.
Companies and individuals with a specific, serious problem. No mass claims, no advertising, no trainees.
I
Civil and commercial litigation
Declaratory and enforcement proceedings before the courts: breach of contract, debt claims, civil liability and unfair competition.
II
Arbitration
Domestic and international arbitration as counsel. Drafting of arbitration clauses, and setting aside or enforcement of awards.
III
Shareholder disputes
Disputes between shareholders, challenges to corporate resolutions, directors’ liability and shareholders’ agreements once a conflict has arisen.
IV
Commercial contracts
Negotiation and drafting of distribution, agency, services and share purchase agreements, written to keep you out of court.
V
Civil property law
Obligations and contracts, guarantees, leases and property. For individuals with assets to protect.
VI
Second opinion
An independent review of the strategy in a matter already under way, with a written report and no commitment to take over the case.

03 · How I work
What changes compared with a large firm. And what does not.
One person, start to finish
Whoever studies the matter is the one who signs it and argues it. No layer in between, and no hours billed for learning the file.
An opinion before an engagement
The first meeting is for saying whether the matter calls for litigation, negotiation or nothing at all — just as plainly when the answer is unwelcome.
Fees in writing
A fixed quote, or one agreed stage by stage, always before work begins. The rigour of a large firm without its cost structure.
Three working languages
Spanish, English and French in contracts, proceedings and arbitration. No translation in between, and no nuance lost on the way.
